Today was a very relaxing day. I always appreciate those day where I can do small things like my cross titch and read. Today I decided to make no bake cookies. First time every making them and I decide Costa Rica in the place to try it out. Well it all went really well actually and they tasted delicious. I don't think my mama tica really believed that they would turn out good so she was pleasantly surprised at them. I did forget to cut the recipe in half like my mom told me to so I ended up making a good amount of cookies...probably all for myself.
Then this evening we had another dance class. It was quite the experience today. As I have gone to these I wonder how I ever played soccer because I feel like I have no coordination in my feet. We reviewed the meringue and then went onto salsa and learned more of that today. The salsa is a little more challenging. I did have a dance partner that was quite fierce with his dancing and threw his partners around it felt like and much less coordinated than I am. He got so crazy as to accidentally elbow one of my friends in the face. But he was having a good time so that's all that matters.
Oh something else fun...I got new bed sheets and comforter today. I walked in to find a new set. The sheets are like a tan striped color and my comforter is a green and blue one. It is quite pretty.
During my free time I was watching mormon messages and I watched this one call "Moments that Matter Most". I recommend it to everyone. I loved it. A new favorite quote came from it it's "It is not so much the major events as the small day-to-day decisions that map the course of our living." -Pres. Hinckley. It is like the talk in one of the recent general conferences by Pres Uchdorf that was about slowing down and appreciating the small things in life. I know that at times I am just I have to do this and this and I need to do this and just so busy busy that I don't stop and do those small things and appreciate those little blessings in my life. Tomorrow everyone go appreciate something small that in our busy lives we may normally forget. I love you all!
